About Me

I’m Joëlle, a developer, gamer, and together with my lovely wife Becky, the proud owner of our Minecraft SMP Communityserver and our community. Together we build a cozy communitie where fun, respect, and a welcoming atmosphere always come first. I also help behind the scenes with everything technical around her Twitch channel CozyBecky and our Discord server. From maintaining the gameservers to fixing stream problems at the most impossible moments, I’m usually the one pressing buttons and hoping nothing suddenly explodes. Technology is basically just modern magic with error messages.

We happily live in Germany together with our teenage son, and our lives revolve around a cozy mix of online projects, gaming, good vibes, and simply being ourselves. Humanity somehow turned existing into paperwork and software updates, so creating cozy corners online feels almost rebellious at this point.

What I enjoy most? Building, improving, and growing things. Whether it’s our Minecraft Communityserver or creating a community where everyone feels welcome, or finally getting a Twitch stream to run without technical drama, I love everything where creativity and technology come together. Gaming and online communities are not just hobbies to me, but places where friendships are created and where people can simply be themselves.

Outside the online world, I enjoy the simple cozy things in life: BBQs, walking, relaxing on a terrace, spending time with friends, and jumping in puddles with my rain boots like I’m secretly still eight years old. And yes… a 🍔 Big Mac remains my ultimate weakness. Some people collect luxury items, I collect happy moments with fries on the side.

My style may not be standard, but it’s completely me. I love wearing dresses combined with rain boots or colorful water shoes. Rain boots have been my favorite choice since childhood: practical, comfortable, and honestly just a lot of fun. I wear them almost everywhere. On warmer days I sometimes switch to colorful plastic water shoes with wonderful 80s vibes. Comfort and happiness will always matter more to me than other people’s expectations. Life is already complicated enough without uncomfortable shoes. The people around me basically only know me wearing rain boots or water shoes. It has become part of who I am.

I’m open about who I am: a transgender woman who identifies as lesbian. For me, that’s not some huge statement, but simply a normal part of my life. I feel good being myself, and thanks to the love and acceptance of the people around me, I truly can be myself. That means more to me than words can describe.

Respect, clarity, and a safe atmosphere are extremely important to me, both online and offline. Everyone is welcome in our community as long as we treat each other with respect and simply stay kind to one another. The internet already contains enough chaos without us adding extra seasons to the disaster series.

Because of my appearance, I sometimes attract attention, but my online presence is focused on my interests, our communities, and the things Becky and I passionately build together. Not romantic attention or personal advances. Boundaries are important to me, and I consciously protect them. Cozy should feel warm and welcoming, but always with mutual respect. 💚
